LJUBLJANA, 22. NOV. 2015 – Slovenian President Borut Pahor and Croatian President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic discussed the migrant crisis underlining that curbing the number of refugees was key to finding a successful way to solve the issue of the migrant wave through the Balkan migration route. Pahor stressed that this required agreements, especially in light of Slovenia’s decision to establish the normal Schengen regime on its southern border, namely, the usual checks for everyone crossing the border. The Croatian president sees the solution to the migrant crisis on the Greek-Turkish border and feels that the responsibility of selecting who is entitled to help should be moved to the outermost European Union borders.
